ProTools Quick Installation Instructions

0. (This step is optional and can be skipped) Verify that the ProRemote MIDI driver is installed properly. Do this by opening Audio MIDI Setup.app in your Utilities folder.

You will see a ProRemote icon if everything is properly setup.

 

1. Go and launch ProTools. Once launched go to the Setup menu and select Peripherals...

 

 

Click on the MIDI Controllers tab and select HUI from the Type popup menu.

Select ProRemote in both the "Receive From" and "Send To" Popup menus.

 

In the Light Version, stop here- you are done!

In the 32 channel version, you would assign each ProRemote port to one of the controllers:

 

Hit the OK button, you are done here. Simply go to your device and launch ProRemote.
